    Cette donnée ponctuelle localise les aires de stationnement qui desservent les autoroutes en Wallonie. Système de référence spatiale : Belge 1972 / Belgian Lambert 72 (EPSG : 31370) On dénombre une soixantaine d'aires autoroutières, classées selon le degré de service proposé aux automobilistes (suivant un Arrêté du Gouvernement Wallon) : - Les aires de type I doivent comprendre : une station service 24/24h, des commerces, un service de restauration, un centre d'affaires, un hôtel, des sanitaires complets, des équipements extérieurs. - Les aires de type II doivent proposer : une station service 24/24h, des commerces, un service de restauration, des sanitaires complets, des équipements extérieurs. - Les aires de type III sont équipées de commerces, d'un service de restauration, de sanitaires et d'équipements extérieurs. - Les aires de type IV proposent des sanitaires et des équipements extérieurs. A ces sites, il faut ajouter 5 aires frontalières : situées sur une frontière, elles sont gérées en concertation avec le pays voisin.

    AdminVector is the vector data set of Belgian administrative and statistical units. It includes various classes. First class: Belgian statistic sectors as defined by the FPS Economy. Second class: municipal sections, with no unanimous definition. The five following classes correspond to official administrative units as managed by the FPS Finance. Other classes are added to these classes, like border markers or the Belgian maritime zone. The boundaries of the seven first classes are consolidated together in order to keep the topological cohrence of the objects. This data set can be freely downloaded.

    The TopoMapViewer is a free, responsive web application that allows you to view NGI's standard topographic maps. In our viewer you can access the following layers:

    • the CartoWeb.be 'TOPO' layer, as well as the 'OVERLAY' layer with the orthophotos as background;
    • the layers 'Top50Map', 'Landcover100Map' and 'Top250Map' (all coming from the TopoMaps WMS), as well as a layer containing the old topographic maps at scale 1:10 000. The latter will be replaced by the layer 'Top25Map' once the entire Belgian territory is covered;
    • an orthophoto layer from the Orthophoto WMS.

    Of these layers you can retrieve legends (if applicable), there are always links to more information and the underlying metadata is also available.

    User-friendliness and simplicity are key to making the TopoMapViewer as accessible as possible for any type of device. As a user, you can always take distance measurements, share the map image with others or save a print version as a PDF.

  • eTOD dataset of aeronautical obstacles

    Vector dataset of aeronautical obstacles with a height of 60 meters or more above the ground. The update of this dataset takes place on a multi-year cycle; for each obstacle and for each location, the situation is indicated as applicable at the time of its last update. Based on the horizontal range of an obstacle, it is classified into one of three classes: polygonal obstacle if the smallest rectangular area enclosing the obstacle has a length and width of more than 100 meters; line obstacle if the smallest rectangular area enclosing the obstacle has a length of more than 100 meters, but a width of less than 100 meters; point obstruction in other cases.
