SNCB - Carbon footprint of travel per passenger kilometer. Precise data for SNCB not available. However, UK Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) estimated in 2018 that the Greenhouse gas emissions per passenger kilometer for National Rail was 41g. (Data is based on official conversion factors used in UK reporting. These factors may vary slightly depending on the country, and assumed occupancy of trains.)
